Periodically throughout the semester, I will direct you to this blog to read and post a comment. You will use your student ID to post comments. I will show you the format I would like you to use during class.

Blog postings (at least in this class) calls for formal writing. By formal I mean spelling out all the words (no "u" for "you"), complete sentences, and capital letters where appropriate.

For your first comment post, I will would like you to refer to the Blog Worksheet that you completed. Write a brief description of one of the blogs you found and link to the blog. Please share with the class why you picked this particular blog. Your blog comments will be graded using the following rubric:

4 - Answers the assignment clearly and completely. Uses examples and details to get point across. No grammatical and/or spelling errors.

3 - Answers the assignment and includes a couple of details to support post. No grammatical and/or spelling errors.

2 - Attempts to answer the assignment but does not give any examples or details. No grammatical and/or spelling errors.

1 - Posts a response but does not include any supporting details. Post has grammatical and/or spelling errors.

Barack Obama NOW is a weblog for Barack's 2008 campaign. It is the oldest blog for his campaign, starting in 2006, it's last post was June 27, 2011. The blog focuses his campaign, him as president, and pictures of the first 100 days he was in office. I chose this blog because, I thought it was intresting that there was a blog started before he was even president, and that they show pictures of him when he first became the president. Plaxico Burress Makes First TD Catch After Jail Sentence

As a free agent fresh out of his jail sentence, the New York Jets signed wide receiver Plaxico Burress. He served almost 2 years in jail for shooting himself in the leg at a night club. After his sentence he is ready to get back to business in the NFL. There was no better way to show fans and critics in the football world that he is back and ready to play than catching a touchdown in his first pre-season game for the Jets. Burress is ready to play again and the Jets are excited to have him.

He found his wife with Marc Anthony in their house, and he supposedly left his house crying. Although after the situation, the couple say they didn't split and there marriage is still intact. I found a sports blog wrtitten by Mitchell Blatt that states: Woody Paige’s Insane Theory: Broncos will win the Super Bowl because they beat a 4-12 team in preseason. I picked this particular blog because I can relate to the author's feelings about how it is an insane theory to conclude the Broncos will win the Super Bowl only because they beat one team 4-12 in preseason.
